A LITTLE ABOUT OUR CHURCH COMMUNITY

 Harvest Community Church held its first service on July 26, 2009 after four years of prayer and CAREFUL planning. HCC is located in the farming/ranching community of Avilla, Missouri, just ten miles East of Carthage, MISSOURI.

HCC is an independent church. Our pastor, Waylon "Bub" Miller, was saved at the age of 30 in a Baptist church and received his credentials through the Assemblies of God in 2009. We believe that God is active and working in the world and in individual people through the Bible, and through the power of His Holy Spirit! We are a Holy Spirit filled church, centered on ministry to the rural community of Avilla and in building Christ's kingdom around the world!

At Harvest Community Church, we hope everyone feels comfortable to come as you are! Whether you just got off work, or just finished your farm chores, don't worry about appearances. What is important is coming together to worship in God's house; encouraging, uplifting, and exhorting each other. Rest assured, you won't feel intimidated here - we want everyone to feel like they are coming home! We are located at the corner of Hwy 96 and Hwy 37 South, just on the West side of Avilla.
