Ok - here is the most recent plan for Pastor Bub's next surgery. We are scheduled to go for the Barium Enema test February 16. This test will examine the previous recision area and be sure that it has healed properly. As long as the area is not "scarred down", and there are no leaks, Dr. Clingan will operate on February 22 to reverse the ileostomy! We just can't hardly wait!
Bub has lived with an ostomy since October 2009. This has truly been such a trial for both of us... but it has also... Continue reading ...

Ok - so I am trying to get this website up and going, but for some reason, harvestcchurch doesn't come up when you do a google search! The only info that is being "crawled" by Google is info on this blog page. So, maybe if I put the basic church info in this blog, when people try to search for our site, they can find it!
I don't know. Any suggestions?
In the meantime, here's the basic info for the "Google Webmaster"! Harvest Community Church is located in Avilla, Mo. We are a church plant ... Continue reading ...
Thursday, January 28th will be our first ever Women's Prayer and Bible Study. We will meet at the church at 10:00am - "noonish"!
You do not need to be a "member" or anything of Harvest Church to come. We welcome any ladies to come be a part of an informal and relaxed group of gals who are trying to grow in the knowledge of Christ! Feel free to bring a coke or snack, and there will be coffee provided. We'll probably start taking turns bringing finger foods too.

Here are the details: Because of the risks involved, this will be a 2 surgery process. Surgery 1 will be quite involved and could take up to 6 hours to complete. In order to complete this safely, a Urologist Surgeon will also attend the operation and place stints in the Kidneys. This will help our surgeon feel them during surgery and hopefully help avoid any dama... Continue reading ...
Bub went in Dec. 14th for step 1 in the reversal of his colostomy. To sum it up quickly - everything was successful! Surgery took 5 and a half hours, so it was quite a lengthy process. But, he only had to stay in the hospital 5 days! We were so thankful for this! He is home and recovering slowly, but steadily. We did have a small area that abcessed in the incision, but it is looking really good.
After everything we have been through - this has been remarkably "easy"! This surgery was really a... Continue reading ...
Hi! I'm Pastor Miller's wife! I get to be in charge of blogging, since my husband is "uncomfortable" with the computer... So, from time to time, you'll see posts here from me, and sometimes posts from Pastor. We'll let you know who's doing the writing!
I am a 32 year old mother of 4 kids. Our oldest 3 kids are biological, and we adopted our 4th. I graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, Mo in 2000 with a degree in Special Education. I have been a full time wife and mom, however, for the past 8 years.
